Christopher ran around the new house looking for his brother- Kiro. "Kiro! Kiro! Kiro!" He shouted. "Kiro! I'm hungry, mommy and daddy left already... Kiro! Kiro, I want to go play!" He groaned. It was about time to wake up anyways, but Chris had been positive that there was a monster in his new room and hadn't gotten any sleep. "Kiiiirrroo!" Chris shouted, this time more loudly. Kiro was his favorite person to follow around, and be around- Or... Annoy. Whichever one he felt like doing at that moment. ~*~
Richelle walked outside with her Doberman- Spock. She was going to take her dog out for a walk, it was the weekend anyways, well... Sunday so she didn't have anything to do, and she couldn't help but be happy. Spock trotted alongside her without a leash, he wasn't one to run off without her permission so Ricky wasn't worried about it, but just in case she had the dog's leash clipped onto her belt. She hummed 21 Guns by Green Day. A new family had moved in just the other day, she was wondering what they were like in a small part of her brain but the rest of her mind was busy listening to her iPod.

Kiro opened his eyes and sat up stiffly hearing his adoptive brother screaming his name. Had he seriously fallen asleep outside on the porch? Yessir, procrastinating about doing something he should've he had decided to go and sit out on the porch and enjoy the warm evening before he had fallen asleep. He got to his feet and stumbled for a second. Kiro ran a hand through his light blond hair and yawned. "Over here Christopher!" A German accent was heavy in his voice. He stumbled across the yard tiredly until he found Chris. "Stop shouting, you're going to freak the neighbors out." He laughed.
Kassiah sat silently on the couch, a copy of The Long Walk by Stephan King in he hands and he eyes scanning the pages before flipping them. A book was not something you wanted to give Kassie unless you wanted her to be occupied completely; she could stay up all night reading and not once putting the book down if it was good enough. She squinted her eyes in concentration, Chris's calling for the adopted German cutting through the silence of her reading.

"Okay, down boy!" Strify laughed as the dog ran circles around him, jumping almost up to his chest every few laps. He opened the back door and walked out, the Blue Heeler running out to the grass and rolling onto it's back, not even bother to stop. Strify sat down and watched the hyper dog run around the yard panting. "Zero, get away from that," he called sitting in a lawn chair. Zero's ears perked up and he ran over to his master, leaping into his lap. "You're not a lap dog you crazy mutt!" Strify laughed but scratched behind Zero's ears.

"Kiro... I want pancakes...!" Christopher said, as he ran up to Kiro and jumped on to him, clinging to his shirt. "And then will you play Star Wars with me?" He asked, still clinging to his older, adopted brother's shirt. He better play Star Wars with me... Thought the little boy. Or else he's not going to wake up to a nice warm bed... He'll wake up to a bed full of worms... He giggled slightly and ran off before Kiro could respond, running through the house he accidently knocked over their mothers' fish bowl... "Ooops..." Chris watched the fish flop around on the floor and then screamed, "Kiro! Mommys fish look funny....!" ~*~
Ricky looked back, hearing a little boy scream about fish looking funny, she laughed a little to herself and rubbed Spock behind the ears and kept walking down the street, the song had changed to Don't Jump by Tokio Hotel. It was one of her favorite songs. Richelle looked as soon as a squirrel ran across the street and Spock looked very likely to run after it, she grabbed the Doberman's spongebob collar.

Kiro stifled a laugh. He watched Chris run off; the sound of shattering glass made him wince. "Kiro! Mommy's fish look funny!" Kiro ran into the house and gasped. Trying hard not to laugh himself, he grabbed a glass and filled it with water. He crouched down by the puddle of water and flopping fish. It took him a few minutes before he managed to grab both the fish and drop them into the glass of water. Kiro finally let himself laugh.
Kassiah tore her eyes from the book and looked back at her brothers. "Now just make sure no one drinks the water." She looked back at the book, reading intently. She was almost finished having only gotten two hours of sleep.
"Do you really think someone would be so oblivious and drink a glass of fish water?" Kiro wasn't being sarcastic. Well, maybe a little. "I just hope fish don't suffer from post traumatic stress." He put the glass on top of the cabinets to be sure. "Kass, do you want pancakes for breakfast too?" He took her brief grunt as a yes as he took out a pan and things to make pancakes.

Strify walked out to the front yard, sliding his hands into the pockets of his black and red Jack Skellington and Sally Ragdoll hoodie. Zero ran after him and jumped over the low gate, running wildly around the front yard now. Strify watched his dog carefully as it ran up to Ricky and Spock. Zero barked happily at the two.

"Mommy won't be mad that I broke the bowl, will she?" Christopher asked Kiro, looking up at him with wide brown eyes. That all ended when he heard that he was going to get pancakes. "Yay! Pancakes!" He hugged Kiro, tightly and then clapped, looking rather excited. "And you'll play Star Wars with me... Won't you?" The little boy pretty much begged his older brother. He gasped, his attention now fixed on the TV. "Spongebob!" Chris shouted, running to the couch and letting himself be distracted by the show for a minute. "Remember, Kiro... Star Wars after breakfast!" ~*~
Ricky smiled as Zero, Strify's dog ran over to her and Spock. She waved to her adopted brother and petted Zero. Spock looked a little confused for a minute but then relaxed and barked back at the other dog, happily. Ricky hadn't been able to get to know Strify very well, they didn't really hang out or anything.
"Jack!" Ricky's dad shouted at Strify, he didn't ever call his adopted son Strify, as he didn't quite understand the nickname. "Ricky! Breakfast is ready... Jack, get you're dog. We're going to the lake this afternoon. Want to come?" He asked, avoiding looking at Strify. He was trying to be nice to his adopted son, but it was kind of hard. He couldn't help how he felt about him.

[[Reminds me of my bestie. She loves Star Wars so we're always having light saber duels in her backyard on the trampoline. xD]]
Kiro watched the small boy go from worried to excited to entertained. He really has the attention span of a fly, which amused Kiro greatly. "Okaaay, Chris. I'll remember." He started the process of making breakfast, making enough for his other adoptive siblings as well.
Kassiah read each word as the laughter of the stupid yellow sponge cut into her mental reading. Often she had to read a paragraph multiple times before she could continue on to the next part. She wasn't going to tell Christopher to watch it somewhere else or turn it down; if she did that, he'd throw a fit and who knows what he would do then.

Strify waved back at Ricky. He looked at his adoptive dad before calling Zero back over to him. He weighed both sides of the question: if he went, he'd probably be the last choice for socialization considering he was new to the family so they saw him as rather strange. "Maybe next time...." Plus, this gave him a good reason to meet the new neighbors. Zero jumped up, wagging his tail furiously. He landed and slipped, falling on his back. Strify snickered and shook his head, "See what happened when you are such a spazz?" The dog just jumped up and ran in circles barking.

"CHRISTOPHER QUIET DOWN!" Emma yelled burring herself under her sheets. She moaned and sighed yet again wet. She had Goodnights on so thankfully her actual bed wasn't wet. She hated going threw this process every morning changing, taking a shower and then going downstairs. Though most of the time her siblings didn't torment her about it. (She can't help it.) They still have times where they laugh or just torment her about it. She couldn't blame them though. She's sixteen, not three.
*************
Megan laid on her floor and looked at the small hamster "Cody come here." she told him the hamster turned around then turned back around and then started the other way again. "Cody what are you looking at?" she sighed as he went under her bed. "EWWW!" she squealed. A huge bug was under her bed. And Cody decided that he wanted to play with it.

Christopher cast a huge grin in Kiro's direction. He was happy for a minute- And then Emma yelled at him. He frowned and turned the volume down on the TV. Chris didn't much like being yelled at, and usually by now he'd be yelling back at Emma, but now he was just upset. "By the way, Kiro. Thank you." Chris rarely said thank you, so that was a big thing for him. He now turned his attention back to the televison. ~*~ Richelle walked back to Strify, her dog prancing beside her as she stopped by him. "You should come, Strify..." She said, with a quick smile. She doubted Strify liked her much because she was a bit of a spazz, Ricky was trying to get to know him better. "I bet they'll let you bring Zero." She told him, rubbing Spock behind the ears, the normally hyper-active dog now looked like it was about to fall asleep.

Emma sighed. She couldn't stay asleep anymore. She grabbed an outfit for the day. And sighed going into the bathroom. She stripped out of her wet goodnight and her pajamas and into the shower.

Kiro stopped what he was doing to look at Chris after he said "thank you". In the year and a half he had lived with the Alans, it was a very scarce thing for him to hear those two words to come out of that little boy's mouth. "Well.... you're welcome." He smiled and went back to making breakfast.

Strify shrugged. "What's really the point? Everyone is still a little uncomfortable around the strange German boy." He smirked. Zero titled his head hearing his name but he panted happily, sitting down. "I guess I can't really blame them."

Christopher shrugged and looked back at Kiro, "I want to go to the lake later...." After about two minutes he looked back at the TV, watching a little yellow sponge run around, screaming something about hooks. "Will you take me to the lake, Kiro?" Chris asked, not looking back. He seemd almost in a trance the way he stared at the TV. ~*~ Ricky frowned and hugged Strify, she hadn't done it before so it was a bit awkward for her but she didn't show it. "You really should come though..." She said, Richelle still hadn't quite let Strify go. She also hadn't noticed that her dad had left. "I'll be strange as well, all the more fun for dad, right?" Ricky grinned at him.
Spock, who was laying down- For once, looked up and whined, hearing food being poured into his dog dish he sprinted into the house, almost knocking over a table in the process, the dog skidded to a stop on the hard wood floor.

Emma crept down the stairs after her shower she went and grabbed the cup that had fish in it "Why?" she looked at Kiro "Fish in a cup?"
Megan ran down stairs "STRIFY RICKY! "THERE'S A BIG BUG UNDER MY BED AND CODY'S TRYING TO EAT IT!" she hated bugs and she was a neat freak enough as it was. So the bug made her more paranoid.

"Okay, I don't see why we couldn't go to the lake." Kiro looked up from the pan after flipping one of the cakes. "Chris accidentally knocked over the fish bowl and it broke. It was all I could find under the circumstances." He laughed.
Kassiah finished the last page and sighed, closing the book. "The ending was rather satisfying but the whole book was depressing. I saw the end coming, some-what predictable," she told no one in particular. It was a habit Kassie had, speaking about a book to herself right after she had finished it.

Strify wasn't exactly sure how to react when Ricky hugged him. No one had hugged him since he had been adopted. He smiled and put one arm awkwardly around Ricky. "Well, alright. You talked me into it. I'll come!"

"Great!" Christopher said, with a large grin as he turned back to Kiro. He looked at Emma and giggled, little the little boy he was. "Fish and Fish looked funny out of the water..." Chris explained, his chocolate brown eyes sparkled with laughter as he said it. His laughter stopped and he turned back to his TV show, back to his trance like state. ~*~ Richelle's smile returned when Strify hugged her back. She gave an enthusiastic grin and said, "Great!" Ricky glanced at the house when she heard Megan scream something about her hamster trying to eat a bug under her bed, her enthusiasm disappeared and she sighed. "I always knew that hamster thought all crunchy things were delicious... Little does he know that once he bites into it that it's going to taste disgusting- Unless things change for hamsters." She laughed a little.

"And why were they out of water?" Emma looked at Kiro and Chris and sighed "What'cha makin' Kiro?" she asked.
***
"But it's a BUG! And it's BIG!" Megan explained "Cody is trying to eat it! But the BUG! Is bigger then him!" she kept on exaggerating Bug and big so she could get her point across. She hated bugs with a passion.
"Come down Meg." Harrison yawned walking downstairs drowsily. "Cody has probably eaten it or has been eaten by it."
"HARRISON!" Megan whimpered
