The year is 2082. Different people but innocent enough as most. That is, unless you were looking at them like the government was. These "different" people were mutants; male and female, young and old. Each has different mutations in their DNA that make them different from each other and most of Americans in general. Now, it's a matter of life and death. The mutants must work together, as strangers, to find others, create some sort of and survive before the government and Americans with similar opinions to exterminate the mutants. It isn't rare for a mutant or human to carelessly murder the opposing (or even same) species.
There are four main classes of people in this role play: the X-Men, the Brotherhood, the Civilization, and the Peacemakers. There are four leaders, one for each class.
The X-Men are the mutants that want to find a way to co-exist with the humans more than anything. It is a term for these types of mutants that has been used for some 80 years. They do their best to try to fit in as normal people and do what they need to survive. Occasionally they pass word of the plans made by the Brotherhood to the civilization.
The Brotherhood has existed for nearly 80 years and wants to exterminate the humans as compassionately as the humans want to exterminate the mutants. They do everything in their power to make it so only mutants exist on Earth.
The Civilization is the government and people who are all in favor in exterminating mutants. They live high class lives funded as soldiers, kept in classified circles aside from the innocent and completely ignorant humans that want nothing to do with the whole mutant ordeal.
Then there are the Peacemakers. They are the ones who want to help the mutants despite it being an illegal crime that could have them put in jail. That are the human version of the X-Men, they just want peace between the two species. A lot of times, if they are allowing mutants to rest in their homes they pass along new information to the X-Men.
1- This means you should know the basic rules of RP's - no godmodding/power playing, no Mary-Sues, etc. 2- This RP has the potential to go on for a bit, so let's try and make it last, and if you join, be committed! I know sometimes things crop up in our life, and we have to deal with it, but if you're going to be absent, try and inform me so other players aren't left waiting for you. 3- While what I've said up there is basically the main plot, any sub-plots are welcomed and encouraged - any ideas, drop me a line and we'll talk. 4- I hope to God I don't have to talk about literacy, don't you? What I mean is, be as literate as possible. Some mistakes are fine but let's not make a habit of it, shall we? 5- fuckshitpisscrapthingy -- swear all you like, I haven't got a problem with it. If swearing annoys you, we're not going to wrap you in cotton wool and say don't do it to the other players. Deal with it. 6- Character applications must be detailed and well-written. Any "will come out in the RP" crap will get you told "gtfo". Appearances will also require descriptions as well as/instead of pictures. While I don't mind drawings for the pictures, anime is out of the question, and if it's a drawing, don't have it be a fantasy thing, or have to say "but without the..." because that will also get you told "gtfo". 7- Have fun, ch'yeah? Break any rules and I'll kick you out, but otherwise, have fun!

NAME;; Eternity Tempest Ashbrooke
AGE;; eighteen
GENDER;; female
SIDE;; Brotherhood, Leader
PERSONALITY;; A fierce warrior for the cause but a rebel without. Eternity is a very rebellious and violent girl; she'll break the rules just because they're there. She is quite sarcastic and tends to tease and make fun of people, whether she knows and/or likes them. Even though she is a frustratingly mean trouble-maker, she knows where she stands. She gives herself boundaries to follow and never crossed them, unless she isn't in control. No one knows exactly why this is since she usually keeps to herself and never talks about her past except for the things she has done that she considers interesting. She wasn't always like this, though.
She is very quick to anger, a lot of times she simply bottle her emotions up. This makes her a walking time bomb; no one ever knows when she's going to just blow up. Eternity dislikes emotions besides anger and determination, especially fear and sadness. Those two emotions she considers weakness and never, under any circumstances, shows them. She has a short fuse and has been known to do some indescribable things when she has been angry. Get her angry enough (or hit her in the face) and she'll completely lose control, something everyone refers to as 'Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde Syndrome.' When in one of her "fits", she goes against everything and she's done terrible things. She loves fights, both verbal and physical since she knows she is good at both.
A quick and strategical thinker since she was twelve years old when she ran away from home, Eternity loves things that makes her use her mind. She is independent, clever, strict to her own rules, and a problem solver which makes her a fair leader, especially for the Brotherhood. Over-coming obstacles in is what she is mainly good at, next to fighting.
HISTORY;; Born on Hallow's Eve along with her two triplets in a small wasteland that could barely be called a town, Eternity Tempest Ashbrooke was one of six children: four boys, two girls. Her mother and father were fair and allowing enough for the first three years of her life. It was a simple life any child would like having grown up in such a place. She was close with her two oldest siblings; her brother was two years older than herself and her sister was three years older than that. She also became amazingly close with her father. Her other brother (beside her two triplets) was only a year older, but he had been in a hit-and-run accident that put him in critical condition and a coma only days before the birth of the triplets. Her family was one that supported the government in the mutant extermination.
One cold and rainy night, the Ashbrooke family acquired news that Mr. Ashbrooke had been in a fatal accident by local police. He had been driving down the highway when a drunken and newly-wedded couple had run his car across the highway into on-coming traffic. The on-coming traffic battered his car back and forth until it took a plunge into a river. Eternity was devastated and in denial. How could her father leave her and her siblings like this? Rage boiled inside her as she thought more and more about the couple.
Nine years later her mother had been re-married for seven years to a man Eternity utterly loathed and the brother that had been in a coma had recovered. He was trying to replace her father, already having a kid. She sat on the couch with her brothers and sister when their step-father walked into the house. He was drunk again, of course. But something else had Eternity worried. She knew her mom was cheating on their step-father; right this very moment, in fact. Her step-father walked into the bedroom and Eternity heard her mother gasp. She looked at her other siblings as their step-father yelled and cursed with a slur. His boots thudded on the floor then there was silence before her mother began to beg, her voice was thick as she sobbed. Eternity jumped about three feet in the air when gun shots rang out. Her face turned red with fury as she stood up and stomped toward her mother's bedroom. She looked at her step-father, his shoot gun in one hand, as he shot again but this time it was the man her mother had been cheating on him with. Her step-father turned and walked toward the living room, shoving Eternity out of his way and into the wall. Eternity got up quickly and ran to the living room as her siblings began yelling. Another shot echoed and her sister lay dead on the floor. "Run! Go! NOW!" Eternity jumped onto her step-father's back, putting him into the tightest choke hold she could manage as her brothers ran for their lives into the night. As soon as her brothers were gone, she dropped off and ran out the door with only thoughts of revenge; no longer did she care for anything else.
It wasn't easy living on the streets as a kid. She had only been 12 when she ran away after her step-father so carelessly murdered her mother and sister. She hadn't found her surviving siblings that night or the next morning. Now, three years later, she had yet to find them. She watched with disgust at the trash about mutants the government was dishing in a brainwashed sense to the Americans, especially since she had found out she was a mutant. They were next on her list to somehow get revenge on, the humans. It would be as easy as her task at hand but she would do something, even if it was something small, to bring down the cruel, cruel group known as the Civilization. However, she was now looking at her main task, something she had to be rid of: her step-father. She crouched in a dark alley, watching him with a scowl. Should his death be slow and painful or quick and ruthless, she thought to herself. Clenching her fists by her sides, Eternity walked quietly out of the alley behind him. The street was too crowded for her to take revenge where she had spotted him so she walked casually behind him, waiting for the people to begin to disappear. Tonight was the night she would kill him, even if it meant dying herself.
Someone more that wanted to kill the humans? This was just what Eternity wanted. Human filth were simply the ones who couldn't evolve into what they needed to be. She had to find them, join them. And quickly since the Civilization was after here. It took her two and a half years before she found the Brotherhood. As soon as they saw her and some could sense how rebellious and experienced she was with these things, it wasn't a hard choice when she challenged the current leader for his position. Not only was she more sly and cunning but she was younger.
OTHER;; Eternity is a pyro, a very major one at that. Not only can she supply the fire as if it ran through her veins but she can control it in anyway she likes. Predictably enough, she smokes. Mostly when she's stressed out, thinking deeply about something, or trying to look cool.
APPEARANCE DISCRIPTION;; Eternity stands at five feet, eleven inches and weighs one hundred twenty-three pounds. She is thin with little muscle (it exists but she isn't exactly ripped to say the least) and has a very pale complexion. Her hair is long (coming to her mid-back), straight with the ends curling inward slightly, and auburn. Her eyes are a dark green, like trees in the deepest depth of the forest, but flare a deep and fiery red when she is using her fire. She has a snakebite on her bottom lip and her left nostril is pierced. She has a solid, navy blue star tattoo on the back of her neck, blood-dripping barbed wire bands on both her wrists, and a skull on her left arm just below the shoulder. The finger prints on all her fingers have been burned off from when she discovered her ability when she was almost 13. She wears lots of torn up, baggy jeans, spiked belts, tight band tee-shirts or just plain tight black shirts, converse or combat boots, and typically a hat or beanie. She always has on thick eyeliner and her nails are painted black with a white stripes on the tips and a dark red stripe down the middle.

NAME;; James Howlett, now goes by Logan but mostly Wolverine.
AGE;; Somewhere around 200?
GENDER;; Male
SIDE;; X-Men
PERSONALITY;; Wolverine will sometimes lapse into a "berserker rage" while in close combat. In this state he lashes out with the intensity and aggression of an enraged animal and is even more resistant to psionic attack. Though he loathes it, he acknowledges that it has saved his life many times. Despite his apparent ease at taking lives, he does not enjoy killing or giving in to his berserker rages. Logan adheres to a firm code of personal honor and morality.
In contrast to his brutish nature, Wolverine is actually extremely intelligent. Due to his increased lifespan, he has traveled the world and amassed extensive knowledge of foreign languages and cultures. He can speak English, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Cheyenne, Spanish, Arabic, and Lakota; he also has some knowledge of French, Thai, Vietnamese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean and Hindi. When Forge monitors Wolverine's vitals during a Danger Room training session, he calls Logan's physical and mental state "equivalent of an Olympic-level gymnast performing a gold medal routine while simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head."
Wolverine is frequently depicted as a gruff loner, often taking leave from the X-Men to deal with personal issues or problems. He is often irreverent and rebellious towards authority figures, though he is a reliable ally and capable leader. He has been a mentor and father figure to several younger women, especially Jubilee and Kitty Pryde, and has had romantic relationships with numerous women (most notably Mariko Yashida), as well as a mutual but unfulfilled attraction to Jean Grey, leading to jealous run-ins with her boyfriend (later husband), Scott Summers.
HISTORY;; In the late 1880's a child by the name of James Howlett was born. As a child James was a frail and sick boy. His allergies didn't allow him to go out and play much. His father had requested that a twelve year old girl be brought to their estate. That girl was named Rose and she was to be a friend and play mate to James. She read to him and looked after him. Along with the grounds keeper's son, Dog, James and Rose were the only children on the hill where the estate was. They had become close friends and played together as much as possible but Dog slowly grew away from them. Dog's father, the grounds keeper was named Thomas Logan, he was an alcoholic and abuse his son.
Over the next few years Dog started to follow in his father footsteps, becoming cruel and heartless. James was given more responsibilities by his father and grandfather. After a big fight, Dog killed James's K-9 companion which resulted in the Logan's getting kicked off the Howlett estate.
In a fit of rage and anger Thomas Logan and his son entered the estate armed. They then took Rose hostage and demanded that she take them to the masters' bedroom. There the elder Logan tried to persuade James's mother, Elizabeth, to leave with them. Before they could leave John entered the room and discovered them together. In a rage of hate and dislike Thomas shot John as James walked into the room. Seeing his father shot and killed shocked him so much that it triggered his latent mutant abilities. His claws extended and continued through Thomas.
After his mother shunned him for his unusual abilities he fled the house. Rose followed to see what she could do. She found James outside the house on the ground and cold. She brought him to the barn in order to try and warm him up. Not knowing what to do Rose brought James to his grandfather house. He ended up giving them cash and told them never to come back again.
Rose took James and went to British Columbia looking for a place that they could live in peace. Rose remembered her father talking of quarries in the Northern frontiers and she figured that would be a good place for them to start looking. Making it to a quarry, they met a man named Smitty who was the foreman. That is when Rose gave James the name Logan to hide his true identity.
By the second summer there Logan was providing for both Rose and himself. He had trained himself to be a fine hunter and he also worked hard at the quarry. Smitty even gave him a new job in demolitions. Shortly after that Smitty asked Rose to marry him. The proposal upset Logan but he finally realized that Smitty did indeed love Rose. Logan then helped Smitty get money for tickets away from the quarry.
Before Smitty and Rose could leave Dog showed up. At the request of Logan's grandfather he was to kill Logan and Rose for what he believed they did. In the fight that followed Rose tried to break it up but was struck by Logan's claws and died. After that, not being able to live among people for what he did he left the camp and went off into the wilderness to live alone.
It wasn't until his first recorded encounter with the Hulk, as an agent of Canada's Department H, that anyone had heard of him or knew that he was interacting with people again.
Logan possesses memories of being a Samurai in Japan, a mercenary operative for the Central Intelligence Agency, and a "wild man" in the Canadian wilderness. Due to the extensive memory implants given to Logan through the Weapon X program, any and all of these memories are suspect. Logan has at least one memory of meeting Captain America in World War II which was verified as true. It is possible that Logan's healing factor grants him an extended life span and has granted him the physical condition of a man in his prime, despite his age.
Sometime after World War II, Logan was taken by a group of scientists led by Dr. Cornelius as part of the Weapon X program. Cornelius was hired to perfect and use a technique that would bond the indestructible element adamantium to human bone cells. Logan's skeleton was bonded to the adamantium, and he was indoctrinated into the Weapon X assassin program.
After his encounter with the Hulk, Wolverine was conscripted by Department H to join and lead Alpha Flight, Canada's government-run super team. During his leadership of Alpha Flight, Wolverine was approached by Professor Charles Xavier, who was looking for mutants to help his students, the X-Men, escape from the island-being known as Krakoa, which had captured them. Wolverine left Alpha Flight to accompany Xavier and rescue the captured X-Men. After Krakoa was defeated, Wolverine decided to stay with the X-Men, for reasons which included that he had fallen for the X-Man known as Marvel Girl.
Logan remained with the X-Men for quite some time, at one time being their field commander, and encountering adversaries such as Proteus, Magneto, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Brood, the Reavers, demons from the dimension of Limbo, the Marauders, the Morlocks, and even Dracula on one occasion.
After his encounter with the mutant assassin Omega Red, Logan began to question the memories he possessed, but his searches to find his true identity and memories proved fruitless.
During an encounter with the mutant Magneto on his space station called Avalon, Wolverine attempted to defeat Magneto using the claws presumably given to him by the Weapon X project. Magneto retaliated, using his powers of the magnetic field to tear the adamantium out of Wolverine's skeleton, causing extensive injuries. These injuries shorted out Wolverine's healing factor for a time, and Logan also discovered that the claws that he believed a result of the Weapon X project were in fact a natural mutation. The claws he now possesses are bone, and a natural part of his skeletal structure.
As a result of his injuries, Logan left the X-Men for a time, returning after he was asked by Xavier, who also asked the mutant Cable, to rescue the X-Men in Tibet, where they were captured during the Phalanx invasion.
Recently, Logan was kidnapped by Tyler Dayspring, calling himself Genesis, who wanted to make Wolverine one of his new Horsemen. Genesis had acquired adamantium by destroying the body of the mercenary known as Cyber, and had planned to recreate the bonding process used on Logan years ago. This time, however, Logan's body rejected the adamantium, and he regressed for a time to a feral-like state.
Logan regained his lucidity, rejoined the X-Men, and is now supervising the team while Cyclops and Jean Grey are on leave. Still without his Adamantium, Logan was kidnapped by the would-be conqueror Apocalypse, perhaps the world's first mutant, and forced to fight the savage assassin Sabretooth for the mantle of the Horseman Death. Viewing himself as a more merciful candidate than his fellow mutant, Logan fought hard to win the battle. As a result, his skeleton again was laced with Adamantium. Under the control of Apocalypse, Wolverine fought the X-Men ferociously in his Death persona. But with the help of his teammates, he eventually broke free from Apocalypse's control.
OTHER;; Wolverine is a mutant with a number of enhancements to his physiology. Wolverine possesses heightened senses, making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than that of a normal human. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. Logan can use these enhanced senses to track anyone, with an impressive degree of success.
He possesses retractable bone claws that are housed in his forearms, they are part of his skeleton system. At will Wolverine can release these claws through his skin between the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but bleeding is quickly halted by his healing factor. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of normal human bone structure. This allows Wolverine to be able to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials. (Note: While Wolverine possessed his adamantium skeleton, his claws were able to cut through almost any material without any fear of damage to the claws.)
Lastly, Wolverine possesses an accelerated healing factor based on his physiology. While most normal humans heal injuries over a long period of time, Wolverine's healing factor speeds up that natural process. Wolverine's natural healing has been advanced to the point where he can heal extensive injuries (such as broken limbs) in a matter of hours to days. This factor gives him a higher resistance to poisons and toxins, and he can recover from almost any injury. The more extensive the injury, the longer the healing time will be.
Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die.
Wolverine, again due to his healing factor, has an enhanced resistance to disease, as well as an extended life span. Despite Wolverine's chronological age, he is still as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime.
Due to his extensive training as a CIA operative, a Samurai, and as a member of the Weapon X program, Wolverine is a master of multiple forms of martial arts, weapons, and vehicles. He is also a trained expert in computers, explosives, and assassination techniques.
APPEARANCE DISCRIPTION;; Logan stands as 5 feet, 3 inches. He weighs (without adamantium skeleton) 200 lbs., (with adamantium skeleton) 300 lbs and is very muscular. He has black hair and blue eyes. His skin is tan.
