Snow fell slowly, blanketing the city in a breathtaking shine. It was 28 degrees Fahrenheit, but you Lucifer didn't notice nor care. He stood on the balcony wearing his costume and holding his cane as he watched guests walk into the house or gather in groups in the front yard to talk. There was a silver dog-tag hanging from a chain on his neck. He looking out at the snow covered city with impatient eyes. He turned, facing the house, and leaned back against the black iron fence on the edge of the balcony as he heard one of his brothers calling him. "Out here, Beau!" He smirked, running a hand through his hair.
"Luci!" Beau smiled, skipping out onto the balcony; he fit his species quite well, looking very attractive and mysterious in his costume. He stopped in front of his brother. "Why aren't you down at the party, Luci?" Beau liked conversing with the other immortals or the mortal drifters. Just like his mother, mortals fascinated him. He had only been turn a couple years ago but Mortals were no longer his species and they seemed much more different in his eyes from when he had been one, so they were quite interesting.
Lucifer shrugged, "II just thought I would get some fresh air, be away from all of the excitement for a moment." He turned back to looking out as more people arrived and left the house.
Beau sighed and walked back into the house, going back downstairs. "You know, Derri, your costume is very disappointing." He shook his head in disapproval.
Derrick looked at Beau and shrugged carelessly. "So? No one said I had to have an actual costume." He pulled the hood of his cloak over his head and walked away from his brother to either converse with someone or to do something stupid.
Beau shrugged and walked on. He saw Draven sitting on the floor in a corner, wearing one of his usual outfits but no one knew that is wasn't something saved for such ocassions. He didn't bother stopping to talk to him since Draven kind of scared Beau, so he just continued on.

Alexander put down the stick of black lipstick next to the eyeliner. He looked like a depressed emo kid with his makeup, skinny jeans, shirt, and accessories. He smiled at his reflection and walked out of the bathroom into the living room to wait for his sisters. They were all going to go out and look from an open door party to either join or crash, it had been a tradition of theirs for a few years now since their parents were always at important parties. Alex had always been the one to take his sisters trick-or-treating or to their friends' parties. "Come on you guys! The sooner we leave the sooner we can crash the lame parties while we wait for the good ones to start!" He snickered.
