"You know..." Mollie looked over to her sister, sucked into the mind numbing video game in front of her. "Being social isn't a bad thing." "Well, puberty isn't supposed to be bad either, but have you looked at yourself in a mirror lately?" Aby looked over and smiled. "What the heck?!" Mollie whined and threw a half empty water bottle. "Stop! We agreed to be good while we're here! We have six months and you're already being mean!" "it's just the wii! And besides, Katherine and her family are coming over for a house warming party and she's bringing food." Aby shrugged completely ignoring her sister's whining. "Hey, come help unpack boxes." J peaked into the room. They had moved into the house the night before, their flight getting in around 10. They got the wii unpacked to play games since none of them could really sleep. "Fine." Aby sighed and got herself up from the floor. "I call the room with the cool loft bed!" She looked at Mollie, who only nodded, too afraid to stand up to her bratty sister. Aby got everything she wanted, she was doing well in her skating career, hell she was the reason they even got to go. "Bill, what are we doing for lunch?" Aby walked into the front yard where the moving truck was. "I'm starving." "You're always hungry." J followed behind her and poked her, smiling. "I'm gonna die!" Aby giggled and pushed the boy who was nearly 8 inches taller than her at this point, away. "Hello Kaulitz-Trumper family! My name is Maleah and I will be helping you move today!" Maleah pulled up into their driveway with a smile. She was the oldest of the Sacco children, Rob was only 14 when he had her. Now she was 27. "Oh my goodness!" She smiled "You guy were 10 when I last saw you!" She looked at Bill and Tom and smiled "Mom is at a doctors appointment with Denver so he can get his physical and dad is at work. The brats are at school so you're stuck with me and Cheyenne!" She took the three year old out of her car seat. "hi!" Chey giggled and looked at the boxes "They big!"

Lydia groaned and leaned back against the bathroom wall, trying to ignore the shivers going down her body. "Fuck!" She screamed out. She was miserable and that couldn't be more obvious. Yesterday she was excited, she had gotten chemo two days before and had no effects with this new stuff; but now she felt worse than ever. She knelt over the toilet again and dry heaved once more, only spitting out what little vile was left inside of her. "Gee! Bring me water please!" She called horsely and coughed just a little. There goes their plans for the weekend. She heard the twins were coming into town for a while and she wanted to see them badly. Even though she left her family for a good reason she still missed them daily. She and Gerard had made a deal though, if she didn't get sick close to the weekend they could go. And it was now Friday morning yet again on the bathroom floor. She wiped her eyes at the though but shook her head. She needed to get better. She knew she did, and that's why she can't go this weekend. She can't risk getting sick. That would mean yet another stay in the hospital and she didn't want that. "Shit! Gerard get the cookies out of the oven first!" Those damn cookies. She was making them when she got sick in the first place. She might have snuck some raw cookie dough from the tub last night which was completely against her "EVERYTHING MUST BE COOKED AND FULLY ORGANIC!" Diet. Stupid doctors. she was a girl suffering in pain! Why can't she have just a small piece of cookie dough! This all started about a year and a half ago. She had been in remission for nearly 4 years and was doing well until one day she had a seizure. they did CAT scans and checked everything they could to see what was wrong, just to find out her AML wasn't back, but it was a brain tumor. She, Gordon, and Simone sat down and had one of the most heart aching talks of her life. She knew it needed to happen, yet she never wanted it too. "If I die just make sure that they know I love them. Hannah and Stasya and Jeremy and Kid know more about me than anybody. I don't want to hurt them but I think letting them help arrange it will help them heal more. They won't be unhappy if you did something wrong." She looked between the two, writing it all down. "I'm not going to die though." She stared at them. That's when the idea of Gerard came up. He happened to be visiting when this all happened and told them about the cancer center that he lived by. One of the best in the world. He would take her in for as long as he needed to and she would get better. Simone was worried about it, Gerard wasn't a neat man. Yet he held up his house. It was always sterile and as neat as could be, if he wasn't home for reasons Mikey or a close friend would be there with Lydia. Hell, the man even held her naked when she passed out in the shower. The two weren't that close before all of this, but now they were practically brother and sister. "Gerard! Hurry up! Fuck!" The 17 year old yelled out once more. She was nothing but a stick at this point, not able to keep much down. She went in for fluids twice a week just to make sure she wouldn't die from starvation or dehydration. Her hair was gone from all over her body, at least she didn't need to shave anymore. She had no color either. The once beautiful 16 year old dancer was withering away in front of her eyes and was now, a year and a half later, nothing but death trying to disguise himself in a teenage girls body. She shivered and looked around the bathroom and just couldn't take it anymore. The tears started falling and she curled up into a ball. "God, I don't want to die! Please!" She pleaded looking up at the ceiling. "Fuck, you can't hear me. You have to go to the kid who's "smiling" on a day to day basis that they're going to beat this damn disease. Well guess what! They're parents are lying about them constantly being happy! It's fucking impossible to always be happy when you're practically knocking at deaths door you fucker!" She screamed at the ceiling yet again, hoping the "God" would hear her. She just cried and grabbed a piece of toilet paper and wiped at her face. "I'm sorry, I'm scared. I was always bought up to believe that you'd help me." She whispered. She was agnostic, but she did believe something was there. Well at least she used to. Now she's lost all faith in practically everything, just barley surviving just to make sure her siblings are happy. She knew if she died it would kill Stasya, and their weekly phone calls were always proof of that. She shivered and dry heaved once more before just giving up and waiting for Gerard. "hurry up..." She whispered.

Bill was in his bedroom, unpacking his luggage and putting everything in the places they would be for the next few months. As soon as they had gotten to the summer house, he had pretty much walked into what would be his bedroom then passed out in the bed which had put Tom in a pretty pissy mood for having to be the only adult bringing in the boxes and things needed for the stay. Bill was hoping that, after some sleep, his twin would be in a better mood. He stopped to look at how things had been put away and smiled to himself, sliding his bags under the bed and walking out of the bedroom and down the stairs to find Tom.
Tom was sitting on the porch, a cigarette between his lips while he stared at the moving truck. He really didn't want to move anymore but he knew it couldn't be put off. Everyday the truck sat in front of the house was more money coming out of the bank. He could hear the triplets inside bickering and he sighed, closing his eyes and rubbing them. This was supposed to be a getaway from him and Bill so they could hopefully get some work done on the new album. The triplets had begged to come and, under the circumstance that they get along, they were allowed to come. Then it got better: Simone was sick of Stasya getting into trouble with her friends and decided to send her on the trip to "learn a lesson." Whatever lesson she'd learn other than how to get on his nerves even more was beyond him.
"Hey grumpy gills," Bill chirped as he walked out the door. "Why the long face?" He looked over as the triplets walked out. "We'll probably order some pizzas since we don't have anything, unless you guys can think of something better?" He turned around as the car pulled into the driveway.
Tom smirked as Maleah pulled in. "Hey Maleah." He stood up and walked over. When he was younger, he'd had a bit of a crush on her. It was kinda weird seeing her again but he was glad to see a familiar face he wasn't related to here. "It's okay, there are five brats here to make up for the ones in school," he said, jabbing his thumb over his shoulder at his siblings standing on the porch.

Gerard had been sitting in the living room, writing new lyrics in a battered and worn out notebook while Lydia was making cookies. She had seemed to be doing better and he was glad to see that, and the reward of seeing the twins was sitting on the horizon. That changed real quick when he heard her quick footfall going through the house and into the bathroom. Sure enough, something he didn't want to hear happened and he practically watched seeing their family slip away.
He was glad he had been visiting his aunt and cousins when she had talked to Simone and Gordon about what she wanted to happen when... if something happened to her. He didn't like that talk, and he knew they couldn't do a lot with the doctors Lydia was seeing in Germany. So he had offered to let her come stay with him since he lived so close to a cancer center. He knew his aunt was wary of it, she knew his lifestyle and she knew him, but she wasn't going to take the chance of getting better away from Lydia. Gerard had put off all touring and anything that he could that would get in the way of being there for his cousin while she was with him. He knew that, if he absolutely had to go take care of something, Mikey could be there in an instant; even if he couldn't, Gee had a list of people he could trust to help Lydia. Through it all, Lydia and Gerard had gotten very close. While he didn't like the circumstances of it, he was glad they had each other, especially now when she needed someone.
At the sound of her voice calling for him, he jumped up and went to the kitchen to get her some water. Just as he was about to run to the bathroom, she hollered about the cookies. He put the glass down and grabbed a towel to take the cookies out of the over with. "Fuuuck," he hissed as his wrist touched the hot cookie sheet. "I'm coming!" He grabbed the water again and ran into the bathroom, kneeling down beside her and holding out the glass. "Hey, you okay?"

"I am sick of pizza." Aby piped up and shrugged "We had it yesterday we had it a couple days ago. I'm just tired of it." She yawned and sat crossed legged on the porch "Can I push you? It is oh so tempting." Mollie stared. Aby rolled her eyes and ignored her. Maleah smirked and looked between the twins "No need to worry about food. Mom should be out of the doctors soon. Denver said he convinced her for Chinese. So I need orders." She pulled out a menu from her car and handed it to them "I need to clean this damn thing." She said more to herself than anybody else. She then looked between the twins and the triplets pointing at each one and counting to herself "Aren't there supposed to be six of you brats?" She raised a brow, teasing the two older boys. "All teenagers are brats. It's a law. They think the world should be handed to them on a silver platter."
Maleah sighed and looked between the group of them "I'm old now." She looked at the triplets "I mean I saw you three last and I was... 21... and you were itsy and adorable. Now look at you." She gave a small pout "I hate being the oldest of the group." She then looked at Tom "So how are Simone and Gordon?"
Mollie started grabbing boxes for her room and carrying them up. She was already trying to find secret places in the house to curl up and be able to read or do what she needed to get done. She hardly fit into this family, and though she wasn't so quiet she wasn't half as brave or as tough as the rest of her siblings. She was reluctant to come not having Bryant to go to if she needed anything. But it was also nice not having others constantly around you fighting for the number one spot in their mothers eyes. Though she hated her sister at times she couldn't imagine life without her, even when she was younger. It was always the three of them. Mollie, J, and Aby. Thinks just worked that way. She looked over at a picture of her and her mother and just pushed it aside. She didn't know if she wanted it in her room, it's not like her mother cared much about her anyway. The woman was supposed to come in a week or two and make sure they were settled in, but that wasn't going to happen. She knew her mother better than that. Something would always pop up with her siblings.
Maleah looked back at the car "Are you coming?" She peaked in. "No." Cheyenne told her and then looked out the door "I gotta potty!" Maleah smirked and picked her up and grabbed a bag "Let's go." She looked over to the boys "This is Cheyenne." "Is she your daughter?" Aby asked. Maleah shook her head "No. My sister. My aunt and uncle passed away about three years ago... And we took in two of their kids. She's their only natural birth child though." Maleah said "Now!" Cheyenne whined. "I need a bathroom."

"No. You aren't allowed to die. Only me." Lydia told him and gratefully took the water. She drank down a couple of sips and just leaned against him. "It's fucking cookie dough! How could I not eat it! It's just staring at you in the face like 'Look at me! I'm fucking delicious!' We have to go see them! We do!" She looked at Gee and pouted "Please! I'll be good I'll follow my diet! I'll even wear my mask! But I have to go! I have to!" She begged and sipped at her water. She was trying to hold back the tears but she knew she couldn't anymore. Soon they just started falling and going down her face "I'm sorry Gee! I really am! I feel fine though! I just upset my stomach!" She lied. She was going to convince him to go. She was pretty sure she could though she had never tried something like this. "It doesn't have to be a surprise we can call them and warn them! But I have to go!"
Cancer. A six letter word that to most is just an astrological sign. For Lydia it was life or death. The good news. The tumor was shrinking. The bad news, so was the rest of her. Chemo was kicking her ass and though the radiation was better it was altering her. Her body was withering away and she was getting weaker as the rest of her body was starting to feel the effects from 7 years of the disease living inside of her. She looked at Gerard and leaned against him "I know I should listen to Dr. Logan but it was tempting and almost worth it." She batted her eyelashes and have a small smile. Oh how she hated smiling now. Her teeth were yellow and ugly and her mouth was constantly dry and smelled horrid.
"Thanks." She told him and sighed, starting to stand herself up. "Gerard you know you're awesome right?"

Bill looked at Aby for a second, "You're a teenager, your favorite food is supposed to be pizza." He smiled teasingly at his sister then tilted his head curiously when Maleah mentioned a missing teenager. "Hey, yeah, where is Stasya? Has anybody seen her since last night?" Part of him knew she probably wasn't in the house, one usually knew from how loud she liked to play her music - something she got from Tom.
Tom shrugged, "They're as good as they can be with so many kids. I don't understand how mom stays as sane as she is, always home and taking care of everyone." He shook his head with a quiet laugh.
Bill jumped up and walked over to the moving truck, grabbing a box and struggling to lift it - receiving an annoying sigh from his twin before Tom took it - and looked down at Cheyenne before Maleah took her. He grabbed a more manageable sized box and followed inside the house. "Next thing you know, you'll have as many siblings as we do."

Gerard looked at her suspiciously and pursed his lips. Her apologies and pleading made it almost impossible not to give in, even before she had started crying. Gerard wasn't used to people begging him for things, other than underage fangirls but that was easy to blow off. This was family Family in need; family in his care; family looking forward to seeing her siblings. He really didn't feel like he was capable of being the asshole that ripped that away from her. When she leaned her head against him and batted her eyes, he smirked and shook his head. "Alright, alright! We can go but if your doctor or, god forbid, Simone finds out we went out after you got sick, they'd skin my ass.
Watching the girl melt away was almost unbearable, but he was glad to have her here and to watch her himself than have his aunt and the rest of the family have to witness it. The once healthy, chipper teenager was being eaten alive by the cancer inside her. He watched her start to get up and rose to his feet, watching her in preparation to help her if she needed it but knowing she wasn't helpless; that was the last thing he wanted her to feel. He needed her to feel strong so she could beat it, and to give him his own motivation to clean up his lifestyle.

Maleah smirked and shook her head "Our teenagers go missing all the time... Maybe. I lock myself away in the basement." She walked into the bathroom and popped out a couple minutes later. "I'm also a transporter. Between Denver and football practice and Gregory and Hockey. Julie and Trich are in dance and Kayla just... Does her own thing."
"Surprise! Hello!" Kathy pulled up in her car with Denver carrying bags of Chinese food. "I have provided nourishment! I'm a good parent!" She laughed and went to the boys and just kind of staring "You guys are so big now... My babies!" She gave a pout. "You say that about everyone." Denver spoke up and smiled "Nice to meet you. I'm Denver. Where can I place this?" "I just got a large platter it has a lot of different foods because I asked Maleah and then we were suddenly done." Kathy looked at the boys. "I need to see the rest of my lovely kiddies!" "Why'd you get so much food?" Maleah asked. "School has a half day. Your siblings want to eat since they don't get lunch." Kathy stared and looked at the twins "Do you guys want to come over to my house for lunch? Lunch break?" "Yes!" Mollie spoke up "Can we?" She looked at her brothers. She wanted to get out and look around a little bit. Kathy smiled "you can come with me Mollie, if your siblings want to come later." "Shouldn't we find Stasya before we go anywhere?" Aby asked and plopped on the floor. Kathy looked at Tom "I'll help you two with Stasya." She smiled and started to look around the house.
Denver stared at the whole group and looked at the room. He didn't want to say anything about the messy house, which bothered him since he was a neat kid. He stood and went to the door "alright... Then let's go home." He was ready to eat being the typical teenage boy he was, he started back to the car and put the food in. The weather was perfect outside but knowing his aunt she'd be another twenty minutes. He sat in the car and grabbed his book, starting to read.

Lydia looked over at Gerard and smiled nodding "I promise mom won't find out. Or Dr. Logan." She managed to get herself off the ground though she stumbled back. "Shit shit shit!" She cried out and looked at Gerard and managed to swing herself to him and leaned against him "Sorry! I'm sorry!" She just broke down and leaned against him, scared to death. She felt herself feeling weak again "make it stop! Make it stop!" She cried out. She had these spells before and usually was fine after she laid down and got relaxed. It was anxiety making her body shut down. She shivered and just crumpled too the floor "I want to take a shower..." She complained trying to make herself feel better. She took a few deep breaths and started her way to the shower.
She tried her hardest to hide the fact that she wasn't okay. She always tried to hide the fact that she wasn't okay. She was always okay in her mind and tried to be okay for everybody else. She had a tendency to lie to others, including her doctor of how she felt, until Gerard figured her out. He had made sure that she wasn't lying and wasn't making shit up at this point. She was happy he had taken the role of caretaker so seriously though. She knew she could depend on him for anything and everything that came to mind. He had seen her at her worst and he had seen her at her best. "Gerard help me dammit!" She went and stumbled.
